🪙 The Story of Brass Kuber — The God of Wealth and Guardian of Prosperity 🪙
Wealth. Protection. Divine Abundance.

Lord Kuber, also known as Dhanapati (Lord of Wealth), is the treasurer of the gods and the guardian of the North direction. Revered in Vedic texts and Puranas, he is not only the custodian of celestial riches but also the divine symbol of material prosperity, financial growth, and protection of wealth.

According to legend, Kuber was once a mortal king who performed deep penance to please Lord Shiva, who blessed him with immortality and the divine role of Lokpal (guardian) of wealth. He resides in Alakapuri, near Mount Kailash, and is said to distribute wealth in accordance with divine law.

A brass Kuber idol embodies this energy of orderly prosperity and divine abundance. Typically shown seated with a pot of gold coins, a mace, or a money bag, his form radiates a calm authority and fullness. The brass material, known for its grounding and spiritual properties, adds timeless charm and energy to the idol—making it ideal for homes, offices, and sacred spaces.
